Cooksen Wealth Welcomes Diane Gonzales

We are pleased to announce that Diane Gonzales has joined Cooksen Wealth! Diane will serve as Director of Client Service and will be responsible for client communication and day-to-day office workflow.

Diane is a well-established veteran of the wealth management industry, bringing over 30 years of financial experience to the team. She has spent over 20 years serving high net worth clients, most recently as a Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley where she worked alongside Lindsey for six years. Diane holds the Certified Financial Planner designation, and we’re excited to see her apply her experience and passion for helping others here at Cooksen Wealth.

Diane was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from the University of St. Francis with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology, and Minor in Business Administration. She began her career as a social worker in Indiana, but made a change to financial services after moving to Houston in the early 80’s. Her first job was with The Industrial Bank of Japan (and she has never looked back). The financial industry has held her interest for so many years because it is constantly changing and evolving. Diane realized early in her career that wealth management is not just about dollars and cents but that our experience about money, starting from childhood, affects our adult decisions. She believes strongly in the Cooksen Wealth mission to deeply understand what matters most to our clients and provide objective financial guidance toward achieving their unique purpose.

In early 2020, Diane sold her Houston home and relocated to Tamarac, Florida where she actively volunteers for organizations that are addressing homelessness, food insecurity and voter registration. Diane loves to travel with her children, Michael who lives in Denver and Katherine, who lives in Brooklyn, and especially combine volunteerism and work in her travel.  She has done work/volunteer stints in Haiti, Portugal, the Grand Tetons, Spain and Colorado. She loves to walk, having completed 2 different 75 mile ‘Caminos’ in Spain and sing in her church choir. She looks forward to performing in New York at Carnegie Hall, as well as Croatia, Slovenia and Italy with her choir in 2022! In her free time, Diane enjoys playing games on Zoom with her 5 siblings, friends and other family members, card games and reading.

As always, we appreciate your ongoing support of Cooksen Wealth. If you’d like to learn more, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you.
