Engagement Process

Our engagement process is designed to identify your wealth management objectives and determine if our expertise is best suited to meet your unique needs.

As a boutique firm, our goal is to develop lasting relationships with each of our clients. To do so, both parties must feel confident that the partnership will be successful from the outset. That is why we take a deliberate approach to engaging with prospective clients and will never force you into a rushed decision.

Step 1: "Learn More"

This thirty-minute introductory phone call is designed to determine if we are a good fit based on your needs and our expertise. We will ask you to complete a brief form prior to this discussion, so we have a basic understanding of your financial circumstances and objectives.

Step 2: "Discovery"

Our goal for this one-hour meeting is to gain an intimate understanding of where you are financially and where you want to go. Before this meeting, we will request some key financial documents to help guide the conversation.

Step 3: "Recommendations and Onboarding"

Financial planning is a journey, not a destination, and this is where the road map begins. In this one-hour meeting, we will discuss our financial planning and investment management recommendations. You will also learn more about our new client onboarding process, so you know what to expect if you choose to transition your assets into our care.

After this meeting, take as much time as you need to decide if you would like to partner with Cooksen Wealth!

Welcome aboard! As a new client, we will spend most of our first year together developing your holistic financial plan and implementing your investment strategy.
